We request that you submit your May 2024 claim for Mass Transportation Benefits to maintain required internal controls. If you plan to commute in May, please submit your claim between April 1st and April 15th by accessing the link below. If you do not require subsidy for May 2024, please do not submit a claim.

IMPORTANT NOTE: MTBP participants that use a third-party transportation provider (VRE, MARC Train, MTA Maryland, Vanpools and others) will need to coordinate directly with their third-party provider should they choose to cancel or suspend their ticket order for May 2024. Not submitting a claim will stop funding to a SmarTrip® card, but DOES NOT cancel an obligation to fund recurring ticket purchases from the third party provider. If the MTB claim is not submitted, and a recurring payment is still in effect, billing will default from the SmarTrip® to the alternate form of payment on file, usually a credit card.
