    WHS is responsible for repairing and remodeling the Pentagon to meet the requirements established by the DoD.  Recently, WHS renovated the Marine Corps Commandant's office including adding a fresh coat of paint.

    WHS manages InfoNet digital information kiosks at various DoD installations including the Pentagon and Mark Center. InfoNet kiosks are used to promote DoD events, initiatives, and other key messaging.

    WHS serves the DoD community by providing physical and virtual reference materials through the Pentagon Library.  Through the Pentagon Library, WHS provides e-books, government publications, newspapers, journals and much more.

    WHS facilitates the efforts of Wreaths Across America to honor those lost at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. Volunteers place 184 wreaths at the Pentagon Memorial fence line.

    WHS led the demolition of the Navy Annex and is leading the administrative transfer of the Navy Annex property to the Secretary of the Army.

    WHS manages the Department of Defense Post Office, the delivery and pick-up point for official mail within the Pentagon.

    DoD employees learn about various charitable organizations that benefit from the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), the world's largest annual workplace charity campaign. WHS oversees CFC efforts across the Department of Defense.

    WHS provides support to DoD employees and visitors at the Mark Center via the Mark Center Customer Service desk.

    WHS personnel at the Pentagon Customer Assistance Center provides a range of services to DoD-wide employees and visitors, to include access needs for persons with disabilities, and guidance locating internal DoD customer service providers.

    WHS cares for the grounds at the Mark Center by planting and maintaining a variety of shrubs, leafy plants, and flowers along the sidewalks and next to the buildings.

    A Pentagon librarian checks out materials to a patron. WHS operates the Pentagon Library (and Mark Center satellite location), providing eligible users access to, and assistance with, educational and general interest materials.

    Receptionists guide conferees to their assigned meeting space at the Mark Center (MC). WHS provides support to both employees and attendees of the MC's state-of-the-art conference facility.

    Members of the public and DoD personnel utilize a transportation option from the Pentagon. WHS coordinates the transportation services for the Mark Center and Pentagon, on behalf of DoD in the National Capital Region.

    Members of the public learn and reflect at the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial. The Memorial is administered and maintained by Washington Headquarters Services.
