Information Assurance

Information Assurance (IA) services are centrally managed for the overall WHS IT Security Program.  IA services include establishing a centralized IT security program in WHS, that includes the Department of Defense Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) and the Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) Program.

The Information Assurance Division (IAD) provides a Designated Approving Authority (DAA) and provides services for WHS-wide COOP IT project management, IA training, and support applications.
