OSD Senior Executive Management Office

The Executive Lifecycle Management and Executive and Political Personnel Division provides the following services:

Plans, develops, organizes, and provides personnel advisory services on resource management, staffing activities, and performance management for Senior Executive Service (SES), Scientific and Professional, and senior level positions within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Defense Agencies, and DoD Field Activities
Manages the appointment of non-career SES and Schedule C employees
Handles the personnel actions dealing with consultants and experts, employees in positions under the Intergovernmental Personnel Act and reimbursable and non-reimbursable details
