About Your Pay

Your First Pay Check

Normally you will receive your first pay check three weeks after you enter on duty. Your paycheck will include your net salary after deductions are made for taxes, social security, health benefits premiums, life insurance, retirement, and other elections. You can print/review your Leave and Earning Statement (LES) reflecting your earnings and leave status for any pay period through the online MyPay website.

Managing Your Pay

The Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS) is the Agency's servicing payroll office. You will be able to access the MyPay website nearly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to view, save, and print LES, as well as make other pay changes at a time when it's convenient for you to do so.
