The Labor and Management Employee Relations division provides a full range of assistance (technical and consultation) to employees, supervisors, and managers assigned to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Defense Agencies, and DoD Field Activities that receive personnel servicing from the WHS Human Resources Directorate (HRD) Customer Support Operating Office.

Programs include Incentive and Honorary Awards, Performance Management, Family-Friendly Initiatives, Drug-Free Workplace, Alternate Work Schedules and Telework, Workers' Compensation, Leave Administration, Labor Relations, Disciplinary and Adverse Actions, and Grievances and Appeals.
