OSD Staff Orientation Course

The OSD Staff Orientation Course is a one-day, seven hour course that describes the workings of OSD. The course is offered monthly in Crystal City and is centrally funded. To view the complete course agenda.

OSD Staff/Action Officer Course

The OSD Staff/Action Officer Course is a 2-day, 14-hour course that describes how to prepare, write, and staff action packages for the Secretary of Defense. The course is offered monthly in Crystal City and is centrally funded. View the complete course agenda.

 

Eligibility:

• Most OSD civilian personnel, military personnel and contractors are eligible to attend. Civilian and military employees must register through the Learning Management System iCompass Learning Management System.
• Some non DoD employees may not have access to iCompass, and may need to complete and return a hard copy registration form.
• The course is offered monthly at the Mark Center and is centrally funded.
