Security Policy and Clearance Appeals Office

• Represents Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and the Defense Agencies on departmental and interagency working groups dealing with personnel security issues and the formulation of personnel security policies and procedures.
• Coordinates personnel security policy/program development and advises managers, supervisors, and employees within the Office of the secretary of Defense (OSD), the Defense Agencies, and the DoD Field Activities.
• Leads WHS coordination on personnel security policy regulations, initiatives, etc.
• Serves as the President of the OSD Clearance Appeals Board managing board policy and operations involving appeals of unfavorable determinations by the WHS Consolidated Adjudications Facility.
