Personnel Services

Provides Washington Headquarters Services-serviced organizations with a wide range of consolidated human resource management program functions and specialized technical assistance. These services are provided in a staffing and an advisory customer-support office environment to include:

• Policy interpretation; special employment program management; Voluntary Separation Incentive Program management; classification and wage administration; recruitment and placement; employee benefits and entitlements; personnel information data management (Defense Civilian Personnel Data System); processing of personnel actions; and records management.
• Gives advice to management and employees on staffing and classification.
• Provides written and/or verbal interpretations of guidance and local policies and procedures associated with staffing and classification on setting pay, appointing authorities, position management, downsizing, and outplacement.
